I hope you are using this powerhouse week to make valuable connections. The first of many virtual business story showcases kicked off this week on LinkedIn. Check out the first round of submitted stories by clicking here. Please like, share and follow the stories. 
If you submitted your story late last year or earlier this year and want to update it, please do so ASAP.  If you haven’t submitted your story yet, click here for instructions. Summer Collaborative Marketing Competition Announced
A collaborative marketing competition is planned for 2018 One Million Woman Link Up participants to help them expand their business reach throughout their metro area by capitalizing on Independent Retailer Month (July). Teams will partner to give women centric in-store and online events that not only benefit their bottom-line but helps a local charity that feeds the needy. The events will target women in general or niche audiences (women over 50, business and professional women, moms, mompreneurs, prospective female home buyers, etc.). Main Street, business and professional women will be able to access the invaluable online marketing skills of local virtual business women to push tmarketing messages on LinkedIn, Twitter, G+, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, etc. In return, they will provide virtual business women with physical space to gain access to foot traffic.
Teams will be judged based upon how they rolled out their campaign, concept, use of PR, blending of expertise, creativeness of the campaign, variety of team members and end results of their campaign. A customized marketing and business development package will be awarded to help them collaboratively accomplish their 2018 business goals. Additional items will be added to the award packages. The full details are posted here. 2018 One Million Woman Link Up Steering Committee Drive Underway
Elizabeth Wright, Heather Doering, Margo Lovett, Margie Basaraba, Rebecka Vigus, Tammie Polk, Deborah Thorne, Lynne Maureen Hurdle, Angie Hamilton, Ann Gray, April Moreno, Tammy Durden, Pearl Cox, Deborah Bishop, Linda Murray Bullard, Melinda Cooper and LaTonya S. Castro are a part of the international Steering Committee of 100 women that will lay the foundation for individual Committees of 100 for each US state, Canadian province and select countries to seed the 2018 One Million Woman Link Up with powerhouse female LinkedIn members. They will be able to monetize the 2018 One Million Woman Link Up by shaping it to fit their business needs, network with likemind women who can open business doors for them, get advance access to participants, market and sell their products and services and so much more.
