2018 One Million Woman Link Up

What women are missing when it comes to LinkedIn is a collaborative marketing approach to harness its economic power. You can change that by plugging your business into the 2018 One Million Woman Link Up.  It's a year long virtual tour / business movement surrounding LinkedIn’s 220,000,000+ women in business community.  Its mission is to spark collaborative marketing relationships between 1,000,000 professional, Main Street & virtual business women so they can thrive INSTEAD OF survive by cross pollinating their marketing skills and female LinkedIn connections.

Before I started my business

For over 22 years I spent my career in human resources managing teams, creating policy and developing processes. Due to my keen eye for creating efficiencies in process design and saving businesses millions by identifying outdated policies and practices, I became known for process development and improvement.

The Beginning

2017 was a transition year. Many pivotal moments led me to finally leap to start my own business. The job I moved across the country for 3.5 years prior, was changing and I did not like the direction it was going. My youngest graduated high school and went off to college leaving us empty-nesters. Instead of leaving the company I worked for I accepted a promotion in a different department that led to new responsibilities. At the end of the year, we lost a beloved aunt, my mother and my husband’s father within a span of a month. By the time we hit the new year, I knew 2018 had to be different.

I always knew I wanted to focus on helping women in business. I believe that women are strong and capable of much more than most experience in the corporate world. I think women should uplift and support one another instead of tear each other down. There is enough to go around, and we all bring our strengths into the game. We need to stop feeling threatened or jealous and start partnering to create a better world for future generations of women.
